We’ve been doing our bit to keep the arts alive in lockdown. We were delighted to be commissioned by Pallant House Gallery to make a film about their Barnett Freedman: Designs for Modern Britain exhibition making it available to a wider audience in these Covid times.

This comprehensive collection of Barnett’s work demonstrates his amazing talent and range of skills with some great stories here about who he was and what he did.

We filmed the Gallery’s Director Simon Martin, Director of Pallant House Gallery, and Emma Mason (pictured) talking about Freedman’s inspirational work.

The video was published on Pallant House Gallery’s Youtube channel and sent to the Gallery’s subscribers and fans.

It’s had nearly 2,000 views and won plaudits from art lovers across the UK.

beechtobeach Director Jane Mote said: ‘It’s been an ambition of ours for sometime to work with the Pallant House Gallery – one of the leading cultural institutions in Sussex. This exhibition shows the range and versatility of Barnet Freedman and we hope we;’ve captured his creativity for more people to enjoy for years to come.”
