Chichester Down Syndrome Support Group wanted to put creativity and dance centre stage to help celebrate inclusivity on World Down Syndrome Day (March 21st) .
Their group, which supports over 60 local families, with youngsters ranging in age from newborn to their late twenties, has been rehearsing with dance teacher Suzanne Hill for six months to prepare for the dance video.
We were asked if we could help and, after enlisting the generous support of Arundel-Based art director and photographer, Louisa Moxey, we donated our time to capture the whole project on video to the tune ‘Uptown Funk’
The group is hoping this will be shared widely to show everyone what amazing things children and young people with Down Syndrome can achieve with the right support and opportunities. So please take a look and share the video to increase awareness.
